What is the JUICE Nature & Animal Badge?
The Nature & Animal badge is a JUICE organisation badge awarded to companies that do no harm to, protect, and/or restore nature and animals — through protecting forests, wildlife, soil, oceans and marine life, or through reforestation and ocean restoration.
Requirement for this badge
Have at least one of the following actions in place:
- Do no harm and protect forests, wildlife, soil, and land ecosystems — for example, using land in ways that protect biodiversity, like agroforestry or organic farming, and avoiding harmful pesticides, GMOs, or monoculture farming
- Do no harm and protect oceans, seas, and marine life
- Restore forests — through reforestation projects, planting trees in degraded areas, partnering with conservation organizations, or supporting biodiversity and ecosystem restoration
- Restore oceans — for example, by collecting ocean waste

- Minimizes negative impacts on ecosystems, wildlife, and natural habitats
- Supports conservation and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystem health
- Promotes sustainable use of natural resources and environmental stewardship
