The Climate-Friendly Procurement badge is a JUICE organisation badge awarded to companies with a sustainable product procurement policy that actively select lower-carbon goods for their services.
Requirement for this badge
- Have a sustainable product procurement policy
- Meet at least one climate-friendly procurement criteria — such as energy-efficient products, recycled or recyclable materials, certified sustainable products, low-carbon footprint products, or non-toxic/eco-friendly chemicals
Impact
- Reduces Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions from purchased goods and services
- Encourages low-carbon supply chains and climate-friendly purchasing decisions
